In partnership with Baltimore County government, CCBC is distributing 16,000 free, rapid at-home COVID-19 test kits to the college’s students, faculty and staff.
During the first week of February, CCBC distributed nearly 6,000 COVID-19 test kits across its six campuses and extension centers. The college will continue to distribute test kits at additional events, while supplies last, to provide students, faculty and staff with easy access to rapid tests.
“Testing is an important part of our COVID-19 mitigation and prevention program, and the at-home test kits are a convenient way for our community to be tested and stay safe,” said Dr. Sandra Kurtinitis, CCBC president.
Baltimore County and CCBC split the cost of the 16,000 test kits, each contributing more than $70,000 for this effort.
