CCBC is proud to be ranked tenth in the 2022 College Consensus Best Online Community College “top 50” list. Of Maryland’s 16 community colleges, CCBC was one of five recognized, and the only Maryland community college ranked among the top ten. Other community colleges ranked include Carroll Community College (#13), Anne Arundel Community College (#14), Prince Georges Community College (#22) and Southern Maryland College (#35).
According to College Consensus, rankings combine the results of the most respected college ranking systems with the averaged ratings of real student reviews from around the web. The approach offers a comprehensive and holistic perspective missing from other college rankings and gives prospective students a sense of how graduates view the value of their community college experience.
CCBC was also recognized for its online programing by OnlineU in 2021 and Value Colleges in 2020.
