CCBC President honors veterans in new blog post

On November 11, we celebrate Veterans Day to salute the men and women in our Armed Forces. CCBC is committed to repaying the gift of freedom guaranteed to us by veterans — both employees and students — by offering the best support we can.


On November 11, we celebrate Veterans Day to salute the men and women in our Armed Forces. CCBC is committed to repaying the gift of freedom guaranteed to us by veterans — both employees and students — by offering the best support we can.

The college’s efforts have once again been rewarded by Military Times Magazine designating CCBC as a “Military Friendly” institution. CCBC has raised the recruitment and support of veterans, military personnel, and military family members to a strategic enrollment priority; we now serve 1,000 veterans across the year. Our Veterans Services Team provides hands on support to these students. Especially notable is the success of the recently launched VRRAP initiative, the Veteran Rapid Retraining Assistance Program, designed to assist veterans to enroll in and earn short term credentials.
