CCBC presents The Christians by Lucas Hnath Apr. 23 – 27 at CCBC Catonsville

Baltimore County, MD (April 9, 2026) – Community College of Baltimore County Performing Arts presents The Christians, Apr. 23 - 27 in the Center for the Arts, Theatre at CCBC Catonsville, 800 S. Rolling Road.

Over the last twenty years, Pastor Paul has built his congregation from a modest storefront to a thriving Megachurch serving thousands. But when Pastor Paul announces a major change in church doctrine, his proclamation begins to tear his flock and his family apart. The Christians is an incredible play about faith and the ways it can bring us together or create an unbridgeable divide.

  • 11:10 a.m., Apr. 23

  • 7 p.m., Apr. 24, 25

  • 3 p.m., Apr. 26 (American Sign Language interpreted)

  • 10 a.m., Apr. 27

CCBC’s production of The Christians is directed by Damon Krometis, with scenic and lighting design and technical direction by G. Maurice “Moe” Conn, costumes by Sharlene Clinton and sound and projection design by MaeAnn Ross. Jacinda Pintuck is the stage manager, Daisy Mears is the assistant stage manager, and Elliott Chenoweth is the assistant director.  Julie Lewis is the production coordinator.

Tickets are $15 general admission; $10 students, seniors, CCBC faculty and staff; and free for currently enrolled CCBC students with ID. BCPS teachers attend free with a valid BCPS teacher ID. Group discounts are available, and middle and high school student groups attend for free.
