CCBC president to retire after 20 years

One of the longest-serving presidents in Maryland higher education is stepping down after more than 20 years at the helm of the Community College of Baltimore County. CCBC President Sandra Kurtinitis, who has led the community college since 2005, announced June 11 that she will step down effective July 31, 2027.
