Important announcementAs we plan for a return to live theatre events, we have developed plans to welcome you back within the guidelines for safe practices recommended by the CDC and Maryland Department of Health, and in compliance with Baltimore County and CCBC’s requirements for public performances. Some of those guidelines include masks for everyone regardless of vaccination status, regular health screenings, and social distancing procedures. Learn more about our reopening plan»
At every step, we are committed to safety first, both in producing live theatre, and in welcoming our audiences. The Community College of Baltimore County is guided by the expertise and safe practices that have kept our campuses open and serving our communities.

See a show...or be part of one!CCBC is home to two student theatre programs and three community theatres, with performance and audience opportunities for everyone, from preschool to active maturity.
The Theatre program at CCBC, part of the Department of Performing Arts and Humanities, produces student theatre productions on the Essex and Catonsville campuses. Under the guidance of professional directors and supported by professional designers, students in both acting and technical theatre gain practical experience through the production of new and classic dramas, comedies and musicals.
