How it works

Through online and group orientation, NSO makes it easy for you to get familiar with CCBC – both inside and outside of the classroom.

Explore on your own time!

We recommend that all new students participate in our self-paced online orientation module. Online orientation covers key topics to better your understanding of CCBC. These include: academic expectations, campus resources, best student practices, policies and procedures, financial aid scholarships and more.

Please note: you must take the "completion assessment" at the end of the online module in order to verify your participation.

Tips, tricks and helpful starting points!

Scheduled for January and August each year, these large group sessions provide students with information about the college experience. Faculty, staff and returning students discuss tips that you will find helpful while starting your college career.  You will also participate in a guided campus tour.
