Commencement

WE CAN'T WAIT TO LEARN MORE ABOUT ALL YOU'VE ACCOMPLISHED AT CCBC!

Please refer to the following timeline if you are planning to apply:

• January 20: the application will be readily available here, January 20, 2026, so that you can prepare for submission.
• January 26 - March 13: no applications will be accepted prior to January 26, 2026 or after March 13, 2026.

• Apply for graduation.
• Complete the Commencement participation form. This will become available March 2026.
• Pick up your cap, gown and announcements. 
• Invite your family and friends. Info for guests »
• Have some fun at GradFest in the spring!

• Wear your cap and gown. Beneath, be sure to dress nice, but comfortably. Commencement is a rain or shine event!
• Find parking. All lots will be open at 8 a.m.. Lots 1-3 are closest to the tent.
• If you brought personal items, leave them in your car or with your guests, as there will be no place to store them.
• Report to the North Fitness Lobby of the Wellness and Athletics Center by 9:00 a.m. to check-in for the ceremony and receive your lineup card. 
• Portable restroom facilities are located in the area behind the Commencement tent Follow the path around the back of the tent and look for signs directing you to the portable restroom area. Additional restrooms are available in the Wellness & Athletics Center.
• During the ceremony, be courteous of others by remaining seated, turning devices to silent,and keeping noise to a minimum.
• Smile! Every participant in the commencement ceremony will be professionally photographed by GradImages.

• Share your photos and memories on social media, using #CCBCproud!
• Stay in touch! Joining the Alumni Association is free and gets you lots of discounts.
• GradImages will reach out with your photo proofs for purchase.
• A few weeks after commencement, we will mail your diploma (if you haven't already received it).
• Take a deep breath — you did it!
