Janet Crisalli Lindquist holds a Master of Music Degree in Vocal Performance from the Catholic University of America. In her vocal performance career, she was honored with numerous awards, including Finalist of the Regional Metropolitan Opera Competition and Winner of the Annapolis Opera Competition. She performed major Soprano roles with the Baltimore Touring Opera Theatre, the Baltimore Opera Company, the Harford Opera Company, Prince Georges Opera, Cockpit in Court Theatre, and Annapolis Opera, among others. She performed as soloist and recital artist with the Baltimore Symphony, Annapolis Symphony, and Arundel Vocal Arts Society. She was a founding member and performer of a Young Audiences opera touring ensemble, and developed and performed in programs which toured school systems across the state of Maryland.

As an educator, she taught and served as a Music Department Chair for 22 years with the Baltimore County Public School system, where she wrote county curriculum in addition to her teaching and Chair responsibilities. She produced and both stage directed and musically directed Broadway musicals in several Baltimore County high schools. She began as an adjunct voice instructor at CCBC Essex in 1983-1998 and after a short break in service became an adjunct instructor at Catonsville in 2000 until assuming her position as full time Music Coordinator at the Catonsville campus of CCBC in 2008. Her passion has been to create and develop thriving music programs, and to that end, she embraced that challenge when she assumed leadership and responsibility for growth at the Catonsville campus. She served as coordinator from 2008 to 2014. She currently enjoys teaching Applied Voice and Online Music Fundamentals at the Catonsville campus.
