Federal Aid

The Department of Education redesigned the FAFSA for the 2024-2025 school year as part of the FAFSA Simplification Act.

Maryland State Finanical Aid

Students are encouraged to submit the FAFSA by the priority deadline of March 1, 2024, to receive notification of eligibility for Maryland State Grants and Scholarships by April 15, 2024.

• The Maryland Higher Education Commission has extended the Maryland financial aid deadline to submit the 2024-2025 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for the Howard P. Rawlings Educational Excellence Awards Program to June 1, 2024.
• The MHEC One-App is available to students. It will include a section for any applicants who are ineligible to complete the Free Application for Federal Student (FAFSA).
