This certificate is intended for students who have a standard CTI endorsement from CCBC or a recognized college or university, have a Class II FAA medical certification, and score Well Qualified or better on the FAA Air Traffic Skills Assessment test. Successful completion of this certificate qualifies students for direct appointment to FAA Air Traffic Control facilities and for employment at Contract Tower facilities nation-wide.

This course sequence reflects the curriculum for a student who has completed any developmental coursework and has no transfer credits. Meet with an Advisor to discuss how credits from this certificate may also apply to a degree program.
*Credit students who are new to college (no successfully completed transferable college credits from other institutions) are required to take ACDV 101 - Academic Development 101. This 1-credit course is designed to be taken in the first semester at CCBC. Students must provide an official transcript(s) from an accredited institution to document successful completion of college coursework for the ACDV 101 requirement to be waived.
