Basic ESOL Writing
ESOL 023
Develops basic English writing with an emphasis on short paragraphs. Students learn and practice the logical organization and sequencing of information. Sentence structure, basic grammar, short readings and vocabulary are used to express ideas for simple paragraphs. Students write and revise basic paragraphs in response to basic-level materials. Course content is theme-based and reflects the diversity of the student population and the global nature of society. Course offered every fall, spring and may be offered during additional sessions.
