Major topics include algebraic expressions, first degree equations, inequalities in one variable, formulas, and linear equations, including graphing points, determining slope, writing linear equations, and graphing lines. Course offered every fall, spring and may be offered during additional sessions.

Prerequisite(s): ASE MATH or a satisfactory score on the MATH placement test. Corequisite(s): ESOL 044 or ACLT 052.
