Job Network is more than just support — it empowers you to navigate life’s challenges and take control of your future.
CCBC’s Job Network program provides you with valuable knowledge and resources if you’re a Baltimore County resident who qualifies as a Temporary Cash Assistance (TCA) customer, a transitioning foster youth, or a Noncustodial Parent (NCP) from the Baltimore region.
You’ll begin the program with a thorough assessment of your life skills, education and career goals. Based on that assessment, along with your aspirations and needs, you’ll work with our support team to develop and implement a personalized plan for achieving educational success, securing employment and improving your overall life satisfaction.
Case managers will lead the coordination of a support system that ensures you have every opportunity to accomplish your goals. Case management support includes, but is not limited to:
Your mental health significantly influences your educational and career success. You will complete a mental health screening within the first two weeks of enrollment. Once enrolled, our counselors engage you in both group and individual settings.

If you need ongoing treatment you will be connected to our community-based partners. You will also have access to licensed mental health professionals.
Depending on your aspirations and evaluation results, you will be enrolled in one or more of the following programs: life skills, academic and employment readiness, workforce training certification and/or Adult Basic Education classes. This diverse array of classes is designed to empower you on your journey toward achieving your goals.
Our Job Development team is a dedicated team focused on preparing you for successful employment placement and retention. The SNAP Employment and Training Program assists SNAP recipients with gaining skills, workforce training and work experience, along with wrap-around services that will lead to employment and reduce reliance on public assistance. CCBC's SNAP-2-Success program connects students to a variety of workforce certification training and GED classes. Each participant is assigned a dedicated case manager and job developer to support them during their training and through the first 90 days of employment.
