Technology and Engineering Programs

Automotive Technology

Aviation Technology

CCBC offers academic and applied training to prepare students for air traffic control, aircraft dispatcher, professional pilot, flight operations management, and flight attendant careers.


Associate of Applied Science

Computer-Aided Design for Architecture and Engineering

The Computer-Aided Design programs at CCBC are designed to prepare the student for an entry-level position in the mechanical, architectural, civil, structural, or other design-related industry.


Credit Certificate

Computer-Aided Manufacturing

CCBC Manufacturing Technology students learn to manufacture parts from metal and plastics using saws, surface grinders, manual mills and lathes, and CNC machining centers and CNC lathes.


Credit Certificate Continuing Education Workforce Training Certificate

Computer Science

This degree is designed for transfer in fields such as computer science, computer information sciences, or information systems management. The courses assume a background in trigonometry and other math; students without this background must take prerequisite courses.


Associate of Science Continuing Education Workforce Training Certificate

Construction Management

The Construction Management program will help you succeed in jobs with various titles such as construction superintendent, general superintendent, project engineer, project manager, general construction manager, or executive construction manager.

Cybersecurity

This program prepares students for entry-level careers in information systems security. The program emphasizes computer and network security and information assurance concepts augmented with current industry-standard techniques.

Design, Fabrication, and Advanced Manufacturing

The Design, Fabrication, and Advanced Manufacturing program is designed to prepare students for employment or advancement in the fields of fabrication, manufacturing, industrial design, and fabrication, with an emphasis on emerging technologies and strategies.

Today's highly technical workplace requires employees who are innovative and can solve problems with skills in product design, prototyping and fabrication. CCBC's DFAB program gives you this plus a well-rounded college education that will help you continue to grow in your career.

Digital Forensics

The Digital Forensic program provides excellent pathways for students to gain the knowledge and skills needed for careers related to computers and digital forensics. Students may transfer to universities and colleges that offer undergraduate education in computers and digital forensics and related disciplines. Our Digital Forensics program of study integrates technology and law.


Associate of Applied Science

Engineering

Engineers make the world a better place by creating new innovations through the application of scientific and mathematical knowledge. Engineering is an exciting career that incorporates design work as well as applications. Engineers are problem solvers and follow diverse career paths. Whatever your interest is, there is probably an engineering field that encompasses it. As engineers are in demand, their starting salaries are often among the highest paid to college graduates.

Engineering Technology

The Engineering Technology program provides students with opportunities to gain hands-on experience in the electrical/electronic, civil, and mechanical engineering fields while learning the foundations of engineering principles.


Associate of Applied Science Continuing Education Workforce Training Certificate

General Studies

General Studies offers maximum flexibility for students who plan to pursue a bachelor’s degree upon graduation from CCBC or for whom a general studies degree best meets their academic goals or career. This program is especially appealing to students who wish to design their own course of study or who have accumulated a significant number of credits from other programs or colleges. Students acquire well-rounded skills to pursue a variety of academic disciplines and careers.



Associate of Arts

Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) and Energy Technology

This program combines theory and hands-on experiences to prepare students for careers in heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and energy. Certificate classes serve as building blocks to higher level certificates and/or a degree.


Associate of Applied Science Credit Certificate Continuing Education Workforce Training Certificate

Information Technology

This degree program is designed to prepare students for entry-level employment and/or transfer to a four-year institution. Students may select the programming or database option, or they may customize their technology electives to best suit their work or transfer needs. Most courses can be taken online or face-to-face.

Network Technology

CCBC emphasizes technical skills as well as skills to enable our students to articulate and implement thoughts and ideas. Our students can attain certificates in networking and computer- related technologies including Microsoft (MCSA, MCSE), Cisco (CCNA), CompTIA (A+, Network +, Security+), Linux (RHCT) and information technology support.

The Associates of Applied Science degree in network technology prepares our students to work with the latest technologies including Windows and Linux servers, network security, Cisco technologies, wireless systems, Voice over IP, as well as other skills necessary for the network professional.

Survey Technology

This is a two-year degree program designed to prepare students for a career in Land Surveying. Most of the students currently enrolled are working professionals using the program to prepare for Professional Licensing Exams. They also provide a unique perspective on current course material.
