Illustrator CC Introduction

Students learn the fundamentals of Illustrator CC. After getting familiar with the Illustrator CC environment, students will learn how to create a simple illustration by creating and manipulating shapes, and drawing and modifying paths. Students also learn to insert text into a graphic, customize objects and prepare documents for deployment.

Topics to be covered include: introducing Illustrator CC, creating basic shapes, creating custom paths, creating graphics containing custom text, customizing objects, customizing basic shapes, and preparing documents for deployment.

Prerequisite: Windows Intro or equivalent knowledge.

Illustrator CC Advanced

Students learn how to use Illustrator CC to draw complex illustrations and enhance them by using various painting options. Students will also use painting tools, manage colors, format type, work with effects, prepare artwork for commercial printing, and prepare graphics for the web.

Topics to be covered include: drawing complex illustrations, using painting tools, customize colors and swatches, formatting type, enhancing the appearance of artwork, preparing content for deployment and setting project requirements.

Prerequisite: Illustrator CC Intro or equivalent knowledge.

InDesign CC Introduction

Students learn fundamental concepts, terminology, and basic features of Adobe InDesign CC.

Topics to be covered include: getting started with InDesign, designing a document, customizing a document, working with page elements, building tables, and preparing a document for delivery.

Prerequisite: Windows Intro or equivalent knowledge.

Students learn advanced InDesign techniques to enhance the look and functionality of your documents.

Topics to be covered include: preparing documents for multiple formats, managing advanced page elements, managing styles, building complex paths, managing external files and creating dynamic documents, managing long documents, and publishing InDesign files for other formats and customizing print setting s.

Prerequisite: InDesign CC Intro or equivalent knowledge.
