Community Health and Contact Tracing

Join the effort to help prevent the spread of infectious disease by training to become a Community Health and Contact Trace Investigator.
Community Health and Contact Tracing is an introduction to the role of community health workers (CHW) and covers topics such as effective communication techniques for the contact tracer, ethics and privacy in public health work, and cultural humility. This instructor-led course runs online over about 4 weeks.
CCBC is also actively developing a full community health worker (CHW) training program to submit to the Maryland Department of Health for accreditation approval later this year.  Students who complete this course will be ready to move into that program.
