Workforce Solutions

Support to achieve your employment and academic goals.

Through internal programming, external partnerships and career networks, CCBC's Workforce Solutions provides students with the training, support, skills and resources needed to join the workforce.

Who we support:

  • Individuals with financial challenges who are seeking skilled training and employment support.
  • Young adults in need of no-cost training, credentialing and entry-level employment on a career pathway.
  • English language learners seeking basic education skills or skilled training.
  • Employers who want customized academic or English language training for their employees.

How we support:

  • Courses: From life management and computer skills to financial literacy and career exploration, CCBC’s Workforce Solutions offers a wide array of courses to help students build a combination of soft and technical skills.
  • Services: Whether by referring to a partner agency or through direct assistance from Workforce Solutions staff, we connect students with the services and resources they need to be successful in the classroom and on the job. This could include learning support, disability accommodations, community resources, financial assistance, career advising and more.
  • Integrated Education Training: We provide English for speakers of other languages (ESOL) classes and technical training in healthcare, technical and construction fields to English language learners. Complete our interest form to learn more.

L.E.A.P gave me an opportunity that I would have not had. I love the fact that it was free and hands-on. I can't wait to begin working as a Dental Assistant.
