Through internal programming, external partnerships and career networks, CCBC's Workforce Solutions provides students with the training, support, skills and resources needed to join the workforce.
CCBC works with the Grads2Careers program to provide eligible Baltimore City Public School graduates with free job training and career placement services. Students enrolled in Grads2Careers at CCBC work closely with their Workforce Solutions Case Manager to complete their selected job training program. After finishing their coursework, Grads2Careers students have access to career placement services. The CCBC Grads2Careers training programs are all in the healthcare industry and lead to careers with a living wage.

The IELCE/IET grant allows CCBC to provide adult education and literacy courses concurrently and contextually with workforce training courses for English language learners. Workforce training programs currently offered through the IELCE/IET grant include Administrative Professional, Medical Front Office, and Certified Apartment Maintenance Technician.

CCBC partners with the the Maryland State Departments of Transportation (MDOT) to establish apprenticeship and training programs for highway construction, transportation and Commercial Driver's License (CDL) attainment.
This project aims to provide ethnic minorities, women, veterans and other underserved populations with long-term employment opportunities.

Since 2019, CCBC has received funding from the All Within My Hands Foundation to administer cohort-training classes for specific health care and workforce-related programs.
This training not only includes skills training but also computer training and career preparation skills.

Restore Baltimore is a partnership between CCBC and the B&O Railroad Museum, the birthplace of American railroading, to deliver a targeted, applied and intensive workforce development program for selected underemployed individuals. This innovative program marries excellent skilled trades instruction with critical wrap-around services while providing students an opportunity to apply their work on the Museum’s 40-acre campus.
Students are paid a living-wage of $15 an hour to work and learn full-time for six months, and they have the opportunity to gain experience in restoration, construction trades, facilities management and rail operations. Employers have committed to interview the students upon completion of the program. The initial pilot program is for three years, two cohorts per year. This program is an investment in West Baltimore.
