Fab Lab Baltimore is located on the CCBC Catonsville campus in the Health Careers & Technology Building (HTEC), Room 002 and 020 (basement level).
The closest parking is Lot 5. Please only park in white-lined spaces. You can also get to campus via mass transit or the CCBC campus shuttle.

To become a member and make reservations at Fab Lab Baltimore, you must meet the following criteria:

This is a required 3-hour introductory course to ensure that you understand lab safety, policies and basic operating procedures.

Completion of VOB 169: “Fab Lab Introduction” grants you membership to Fab Lab Baltimore. The Fab Lab is open to everyone, but only registered members can reserve time and purchase Machine Use passes.
As a member, you’ll have access to the following machines:
After finishing the general Fab Lab Introduction course, additional training is required to access certain machines. Each piece of specialized equipment—such as the CNC router, 3D printer or 3D scanner—requires completion of a dedicated workshop that covers proper use, safety protocols and operational workflow.
These hands-on workshops are designed to help you build confidence and competence with each tool. You’ll be able to reserve time on specific machines only after your training has been successfully completed and logged in our system.
A Machine Use Session allows you to use Fab Lab equipment to create your masterpiece. Session pricing varies based on whether you are a student or staff member and the length of time reserved.

Each Machine Use Session is valid for one 3-hour session.
CCBC faculty and staff have free access to the lab upon completion of the Intro Course "Fab Lab Introduction (VOB 169)" or after obtaining permission and training from the Fab Lab Manager.
