Adjunct Faculty
Steven Caballero is a guitarist, bandleader, arranger, and instructor based in the greater Baltimore area. He holds a B.M. in Jazz Guitar Performance from the University of North Florida and joined the CCBC faculty in Spring 2026, where he teaches music theory. He also teaches jazz guitar at Howard Community College, a role he has held since fall 2024.
A dedicated performer, Steven has played across the Baltimore jazz scene and beyond, including appearances with ensembles at the University of North Florida, Howard Community College and other regional venues. He has performed with notable musicians such as Michael Raitzyk, Jack Petersen, Miles Brown, Andrea Brachfeld, Barry Greene, Pasquale Grasso, Danny Gottlieb, Hamilton Price and Lynne Arriale.
He currently resides in the greater Baltimore area, where he teaches and performs
regularly.
