There are opportunities both on stage and behind the scenes in the Performing Arts at CCBC, where we are committed to artistic excellence.

Programs in Dance, Music and Theatre stretch your skills and hone your talents to help you grow personally and professionally. You will learn to think creatively, solve problems, collaborate with peers and faculty and inspire others through artistic expression. Whether you plan to pursue an advanced degree or are taking classes for personal enrichment, you will experience small class sizes and expert instruction from our talented faculty.

The CCBC Dance Program provides you with opportunities to experience and learn about a broad spectrum of dance.

Whether you are a Dance major or studying Dance for personal enrichment, we offer a solid program of dance technique, creative courses and performances.

As a CCBC Dance student, you will have opportunities to:

  • Attend small classes and receive personal instruction.
  • Study with an experienced faculty who are all working professionals.
  • Develop the physical and technical skills necessary to communicate through dance.
  • Participate in dance activities and performance events, including the CCBC Dance Company and the American College Dance Association.

Dance at CCBC

The CCBC Music Program provides you with opportunities to experience, perform, and learn about a broad spectrum of music.

As a CCBC Music student, you will have opportunities to:

  • Attend small classes and receive personal instruction.
  • Study with an experienced faculty who are all working professionals.
  • Study musical styles from the European fine art tradition and the many types of American music to the vast array of music from cultures around the world.
  • Foster your intellectual, creative and spiritual growth through participation in music.

Music at CCBC

The CCBC Theatre Program provides you with opportunities to experience, perform and learn about Theatre from a global perspective.

As a CCBC Theatre student, you will have opportunities to:

  • Train in both large and small performing spaces.
  • Attend small classes and receive personal instruction.
  • Study with an experienced faculty who are all working professionals.
  • Participate in theatre activities and performances, including five academic productions each year and the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival.
