School of Health Professions

We prepare students for an exciting career in the health field by offering degrees and certificates in highly sought after areas.

The degree programs are generally two-year courses of study that allow the student to achieve either an Associate of Science or Associate of Applied Science degree. Our certificates courses earn college credits! We offer CT, MRI and LPN with completion times ranging from 6 to 12 months. Graduates of the Physician Assistant program receive both a certificate that allows registration for a national certification examination and a Master of Science degree from Towson University.

Interested in a School of Health Professions program?

Apply through CCBC's Selective Admissions process. All programs in the School of Health Professions are selective admissions programs which means admission to these programs is a separate process from admission to CCBC.

From admission to CCBC, to SHP program criteria, application types, and associated application fees, learn everything you need to know about how to get started with the School of Health Professions application process.

SHP Programs

Each program prepares graduates who are eligible, to take certification examinations given by state and national certification agencies. All programs are currently accredited by a state or national accreditation agency.
