Anthropology
Anthropology is the study of humanity.It’s a diverse discipline that focuses on examining the origin, behaviors and what it means to be human.
Students will learn to determine the focus of each of the “four fields” of anthropology and the relationship of anthropology to the other social sciences. In addition, they will analyze cultural diversity as it plays a role throughout the coursework and evaluate examples of applied anthropology in order to determine the effectiveness of using anthropological knowledge to address social problems.
