TRIO Programs

The Federal TRIO Programs are outreach and student services programs designed to identify and provide services for individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds.

TRIO programs target to serve and assist low-income individuals, first-generation college students, and individuals with disabilities to progress through the academic pipeline from middle school to post baccalaureate programs.

TRIO offers student support services for existing college students and college readiness activities for high school students.

Upward Bound

Upward Bound prepares students for college by offering tutoring, advising, mentoring, cultural enrichment, and on-campus student employment programs designed to improve the financial and economic literacy of it's students. The purpose of this program is to increase college retention and graduation rates. .

Student Support Services
