Courses are online with 24/7 access and no set log in times. There are zero entrance exams and classes start every month—allowing you to quickly turn your ambitions into reality.

AMU and APU are part of the American Public University System (APUS), which is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission, an institutional accreditation agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.

General transfer information

Up to 90 credits accepted in transfer credit toward a bachelor’s degree: academic coursework, professional training and certifications, work experience, military service, CLEP, DANTES, ACE-evaluated courses and training, Joint Services Transcript (JST) and Community College of the Air Force (CCAF) are considered.

APUS students come with a vast array of work experience and training, and APUS recognizes that not all learning has resulted from traditional classroom attendance. Their Prior Learning Assessment (PLA) program provides you with the opportunity to earn credit for learning outside the confines of a traditional classroom.

Students intending to transfer should complete the admission application for American Public University System following the third semester of their associate degree program.
