When to register

Fall registration opens on May 4 and continues through:

May 4 — August 30
for full semester and first seven-week session (classes start August 31)

May 4 — September 27
for late start session (classes start September 28)

May 4 — October 20
for second seven-week session (classes start October 21)

Meet with an advisor and register early.

If you receive a financial aid award, you are required to register for all Fall 2020 courses by September 18.

Online registration is the best option for current students and is available 24/7.

  • If you plan to Audit a credit class, in SIMON click "Request to Audit Courses" and follow the instructions after you complete the registration process.

Late registration for open sections

You are permitted to register late for an open class without the Dean's or Designee's permission before the second class meeting. After the class has met twice, you are required to obtain the Dean's or Designee's permission (in consultation with the instructor).

Exceptions The Dean's or Designee's permission is required after the first day of the semester or session for:
  • Courses that meet once a week only
  • Science courses with labs
  • Abbreviated sessions
Online courses
The Dean's or Designee's permission is required for ALL Web courses on the first day of the semester or session. If you miss one class meeting, the late enrollment policy is in effect.
