Donor recognition

Donations provide opportunities for our students, support a strong faculty, and enhance our facilities, as well as the communities in which we live.

Every donation is important. The entire CCBC family is grateful for your generosity and commitment.

We recognize every donor with a thank you letter, along with a receipt for tax purposes. Our recognition programs also honor donors who have gone above and beyond.

Our most honored donors are recognized by inclusion in the following groups:

President's Club for Annual Giving

President’s Club members contribute $500 or more annually to the college and can designate their gifts toward any number of special CCBC initiatives and needs.

There are two levels of membership–President’s Level ($1,000 +) and Dean’s Level ($500 - $999)–which affords several benefits including:
  • Invitation to a special President’s Club reception as well as other events.
  • Recognition in Emerge (CCBC’s magazine for alumni and friends).
  • Recognition in CCBC’s Annual Report.
  • Recognition on the CCBC Website.
  • President’s Club Lapel Pin.

Legacy Society

The CCBC Legacy Society will recognize those individuals who make one of the deepest, most personal commitments to the Community College of Baltimore County through planned giving.

As a member of the CCBC Legacy Society, donors and their heirs will forever be remembered by future generations of outstanding CCBC students, alumni, and faculty members. Legacy gifts will help build financial support for future CCBC student scholarships, academic programs and the college’s capital initiatives.

Please contact the Division of Institutional Advancement at 443.840.3213 or kwestary@ccbcmd.edu for information about “Leaving a Legacy” to CCBC

Employee Giving Leadership Club

Leadership Club members contribute $200 or more to CCBC during the Employee Giving Campaign held during the fiscal year. Members are thanked and recognized with an invitation to an upscale reception hosted by the president of the college.

Naming Opportunities

CCBC offers many naming opportunities including, facilities, physical spaces, programs, professorships, chairs, and others depending on the size of the gift and the donor’s interests.
