Johnson Controls renews partnership with CCBC after four years of impact.
The Community College of Baltimore County (CCBC) is proud to celebrate the remarkable success of its four year partnership with Johnson Controls (JCI), a collaboration that has transformed student success and strengthened the region’s HVAC and Building Automation Systems (BAS) workforce. Following strong outcomes and growing student demand, JCI has committed to extending the partnership for an additional three years.
Throughout the partnership, JCI funding has supported scholarships, participation incentives, marketing materials, mentoring, and hands on engagement that directly benefit CCBC students.
JCI volunteers play an active role, mentoring students, visiting classrooms, attending networking events, and interviewing internship candidates. Their involvement helped place students in JCI internships and full-time employment. The partnership is opening doors and shaping career pathways by deepening connections between students and the industry.
With JCI’s renewed three-year commitment, CCBC will continue expanding access to HVAC careers, strengthening retention and graduation outcomes, and preparing students for high-demand, family-sustaining jobs.
