Kabish Shah, a former CCBC Alumni Association Board President, serves as a Chief within the United States Department of War, where he provides strategic leadership supporting national security, cybersecurity, and advanced defense capabilities. In this role, he integrates technical expertise, operational leadership, and mission-focused strategy to strengthen military readiness and support critical defense initiatives.
Shah credits CCBC with laying the strong academic and professional foundation that launched his career in engineering. After beginning his academic journey at CCBC, he went on to earn degrees in Mechanical Engineering, Mathematics and Engineering Management, building the technical depth that has shaped his career in complex defense and intelligence missions. He is a certified DAWIA Program Management Practitioner and Engineering & Technical Management Practitioner, reflecting deep expertise in defense acquisition and technical leadership.
Committed to excellence and professional development, Shah is a life member of Tau Beta Pi, the national engineering honor society, and Golden Key International Honour Society. He is also an active member of the Military Cyber Professionals Association, contributing to the advancement of cybersecurity leadership across the national security community.
