Melissa Hopp is both an esteemed administrator at CCBC, as well as a valued donor.

Melissa Hopp, Vice President of Administration, has been a long-standing donor and exceptional administrator whose generosity, commitment and service have significantly advanced CCBC’s mission and strengthened our student experience.

For 19 consecutive years, Vice President Hopp has contributed more than $95,000 in support of student scholarships and academic programs, demonstrating an unwavering commitment to fostering access, equity and academic excellence. Her philanthropic support has consistently been motivated by her desire to honor the life and legacy of her parents while directly addressing the evolving needs of CCBC students.

Throughout her career and nearly 20 years of service at CCBC, Vice President Hopp has embodied our mission and what it means to be a compassionate leader. Beyond her philanthropy, Vice President Hopp has played an integral role in the life of the college through her leadership in overseeing CCBC’s annual budget, information technology, facilities management, human resources, public safety, legal affairs, institutional research, auxiliary services and campus operations, ensuring students, faculty and staff have the resources, support and infrastructure they need to succeed.

With her most recent gift of $20,000, Vice President Hopp continues her legacy of impact here at CCBC. This gift will not only elevate support for CCBC students but also contribute to the college’s long-term success in supporting student achievement. Over the years, Vice President Hopp has contributed to the College’s New Beginnings Campaign, Bridge to Success Campaign, the Sandra L. Kurtinitis President’s Innovation Fund and has established an endowment in memory of her parents Dick and Carol Ann Hopp.
