For Prabhjot, CCBC’s Legal Studies program is about more than classroom learning—it's about real-world application.
When it came time to find a program that could help launch his legal career, Prabhjot found a perfect match in CCBC’s Legal Studies program.

The relatively low cost, as well as the quality of the program itself, were also factors in Prabhjot’s decision to attend CCBC.
“The Legal Studies program at CCBC is outstanding, because of its comprehensive curriculum, experienced faculty and strong emphasis on practical skills like legal research and writing,” he says.
CCBC’s International Student Services department also made it easy for him, an international student, to hit the ground running.
The staff guided me through every step of the enrollment process and made me feel welcomed and supported. Their assistance made the transition to college life in a new country much smoother.
Over the past year, he has felt buoyed by support inside and outside the classroom. His professors have helped him deepen his legal knowledge and become a better writer and researcher, and he’s experienced firsthand the many resources CCBC offers to help students thrive.
“The dedicated academic advisors, flexible course scheduling and access to resources like tutoring and career services kept me focused and motivated,” he says.
Prabhjot is now wrapping up an internship with a Maryland firm. He’s aiming to finish his associate degree in the spring of 2026, then spend the next two years at Stevenson University working on his bachelor’s. With his enthusiasm and drive, internship experience and clear road map for what’s next, Prabhjot is well on his way to making his dream career a reality.
