Academic advisement is an essential part of your college journey at CCBC. Our academic and career advisors are here to help you every step of the way, from choosing your major to planning your schedule to graduating on time.

Advisors can help you with:

  • Course selection. Whether you need help finding the right level of English or math or need help selecting a program, we are here to support you.
  • Program-specific advisement. Our advisors specialize in different areas of study, so that you can get customized guidance based on your major.
  • Staying on track. As your graduation coach, your advisor will help you stay on the path to graduation and enroll in only the courses you need for your program.
  • Accessing self-service tools. Students can view their academic progress through DegreeWorks, which is available in myCCBC.

Bachelor's-bound? Our advisors can also help you plan for transfer whether you need help choosing a college, applying for transfer-specific financial aid or obtaining prior learning.
