Discussion and Q&A with curator & director of the Empty Hourglass Project, Samantha Trionfo, and experts in the field of mental health through the arts and sciences.

Guest Speakers:
  • Samantha Trionfo – Founder and Director of The Empty Hourglass Project, curator of the Fall 2022 & Fall 2023 The Empty Hourglass Project immersive exhibitions.
  • Susan Magsamen – Founder and Executive Director of International Arts + Mind Lab, Center for Applied Neuroaesthetics at Johns Hopkins University, Co-Director of NeuroArts Blueprint, and author of "Your Brain on Art"
  • Julia Anderson – Licensed Art Therapist, Faculty at Notre Dame of Maryland University, and Creator of popular poster campaign focusing on body image "Love Your Tree"
  • Matthew Bowerman – A Mindfulness leader, and certified Youth Mental Health First Aid and ACES practitioner, and author of "HeartLeader: A Trauma-Informed Approach to Leadership"
  • Brian Rohrbaugh – Photographer/Artist/Creative whose work focuses on exploring the concepts around the topics of loss, death, and grief.
