When you think of the legendary rock band Metallica, visions of thrashing guitar riffs and heart-thumping drums may come to mind.
What isn’t as well known is the work they do through their All Within My Hands Foundation (AWMH). AWMH gives millions of dollars to communities across the country. CCBC was chosen to receive $100,000 from the Metallica Scholar Initiative grant.
The grant is being used to create cohort or group training classes for specific health care and workforce-related programs. This training not only includes skills training, but also computer training and career preparation skills.
