Success Navigators

Success Navigators serve as the first stop for students in need of human services assistance.

Their role is to assess students’ needs and help secure appropriate referrals, through CCBC and community resources, so students can receive timely help. This voluntary referral process is intended to be pro-active, rather than situationally reactive. We strive to provide resources of support as early as possible to help ensure our students’ success throughout the semester.

Some examples of areas of human services assistance referral are:
  • Housing
  • Food Insecurity
  • Child Care
  • Clinical Counseling
  • Medical Needs
  • Transportation
Faculty and staff may refer students by using the Student Incident Report (SIR), which can be found by clicking the black and yellow “hand” icon embedded on all CCBC desktop computers. Students may also be referred to success navigators directly, by using the contact information listed below.
