Oh my stars!!

Planetarium is more than a great place for star-gazing

If you walk into the Math and Science Hall at CCBC Catonsville and see students staring into the heavens, they’re likely doing more than day-dreaming. They may be attending one of the Astronomy classes held in the new planetarium.

The Benjamin Banneker Planetarium is a wonderful resource for students and the community right in Baltimore’s back yard! A focal point in the new Math and Science Hall at CCBC Catonsville, the planetarium is a cool place for Astronomy students to take courses. And, it offers free shows to the community throughout the year!

Since opening this fall, the planetarium will restart offering community shows in February 2016. But, if you want to get a good look now, you can sign up for an Astronomy class on the Catonsville campus and start your star-gazing ahead of schedule!
