Community pride

CCBC faculty, staff and students celebrate July 4th in local parades

CCBC’s annual participation in the Independence Day parades held at Catonsville, Dundalk and Towson is the highlight of the summer for the many college volunteers who show their support of their ”CCBC-community,” regardless of where they might actually live. All year long, veteran and newbie volunteers construct or repurpose floats for their local community parade. In this year’s Towson parade, CCBC’s patriotic plane (originally constructed for the Catonsville parade several years ago) is showcased by the CCBC Essex Knights. In keeping with CCBC’s sustainability efforts, the plane has now been a centerpiece in all three parades!
