CCBC Practical Nursing Program to host Health Fair

Dundalk, Md. — The Community College of Baltimore County will hold its annual Health Fair March 23, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the College Community Center Lobby at CCBC Dundalk, 7200 Sollers Point Road. The Health Fair is hosted annually by the Practical Nursing program in the School of Health Professions.

The Health Fair will offer information and free sessions and will have representatives from CCBC’s Health and Wellness, Public Safety, Massage Therapy, Dental Hygiene and Occupational Therapy Assistant programs as well as information on Acupuncture, Massage and HIV testing.

Students in the Practical Nursing program at CCBC Dundalk will be providing information on topics, including:
  • Substance Abuse
  • Nutrition and Healthy eating
  • Stress Management
  • Blood Pressure Screening
  • Back Pack and Spine Health
  • Hand-washing
  • Vision Screening
  • Skin Damage
