Alternate Admission Programs

CCBC has partnered with Morgan State University and Towson University to offer two unique alternate admission programs. These programs are designed to prepare students for successful transfer into these universities within two consecutive semesters.


The Morgan State University NEXUS Program
  • An alternative admission program for students who have applied to Morgan State University who fall just short of admission to MSU. These students may be selected by MSU’s Office of Admissions to participate in the NEXUS program. This invitation-only program is a collaboration between Morgan State University and The Community College of Baltimore County, offering students the opportunity to take CCBC courses, taught by CCBC faculty, on MSU's campus with the ultimate goal of successfully transferring to Morgan State University within two consecutive semesters. The Towson University Freshman Transition Program
  • An alternate admissions program for students who have applied to Towson University who just fall short of admission to TU . These students may be selected by University Admissions to participate in the Freshman Transition Program. This invitation-only program is a collaboration between Towson University and The Community College of Baltimore County, offering students the opportunity to take CCBC courses, taught by CCBC faculty, on TU's campus with the ultimate goal of successfully transferring to Towson University within two consecutive semesters.
