Now more than ever is it imperative that students ensure they are taking the appropriate classes for their selected degree. Failure to take the right classes could result in limitations on, or loss of financial aid. The Project SPARK staff offers personalized assistance with selecting your courses in the sequence that will lead to degree achievement in the shortest possible time.
Project SPARK takes participants to college campuses to ensure students are comfortable with their 4 yr. school of choice. If you are already a SPARK participant and would like to visit a specific school please inquire within.
Assisting students with their scholarship applications is something your SPARK counselor can help you with. By visiting Academic Works students can find a variety of scholarships they can apply for, some of which have specified criteria for application. Project SPARK can also help you improve your academic skills so you can meet certain scholarship requirements.
Customized assistance in planning now for future transfer to 4 year colleges/universities.
Individualized or group tutoring that becomes an integral part of your schedule as you receive assistance from the same tutor at the same time each week throughout the semester. Tutoring is available for a variety of classes. You can download the SPARK tutoring request form and submit it with any questions you might have to SPARKtutoring.
