When to register

Fall registration opens on April 25 and continues through:

April 25 — August 28
for full semester and first seven-week session (classes start August 29)

April 25 — September 11
for twelve-week session (classes start September 12)

April 25 — October 18
for second seven-week session (classes start October 19)

Meet with an advisor and register early.

If you receive a financial aid award, you are required to register for all Fall 2016 courses by September 16.

Online registration is the best option for current students and is available 24/7.

  • Log in to SIMON
  • If you plan to Audit a credit class, in SIMON click "Request to Audit Courses" and follow the instructions after you complete the registration process.

In-person registration is available during regular business hours at the Enrollment Services Center on each campus.

Late registration for open sections

You are permitted to register late for an open class without the Dean's or Designee's permission before the second class meeting. After the class has met twice, you are required to obtain the Dean's or Designee's permission (in consultation with the instructor).

Exceptions The Dean's or Designee's permission is required after the first day of the semester or session for:
  • Courses that meet once a week only
  • Science courses with labs
  • Abbreviated sessions
Online courses
The Dean's or Designee's permission is required for ALL Web courses on the first day of the semester or session. If you miss one class meeting, the late enrollment policy is in effect.
