Each year, more than 12,000 individuals complete their goals at CCBC, earning degrees and certificates, valuable workplace certifications and transferring—often on scholarship—to four-year colleges and universities. Comcast presented $30,000 and 100 laptops to CCBC. The gift supports our Emergency Aid Fund, and focuses on workforce and adult literacy education students. Business donations like this help us connect students with the resources they need to be successful, benefiting the entire community.
CCBC faculty and staff spend their days supporting students in every way they can—keeping up with the latest research, best practices and teaching methods; finding ways to engage students; and cultivating corporate partnerships. Their effort shines brighter when they have the resources and administrative support to help them excel. When teaching is at its best, learning is even better.
