Grant Highlights:
  • Integrated enrollment and student support services on the Catonsville campus into a one-stop arrangement.
  • Reformed CCBC’s advising processes integrating DegreeWorks, a technological tool that supports a systemic approach to educational planning.
  • Provided college preparatory services for 122 high school students, 80% of participants enroll in college by the fall term immediately following graduation.
  • Provided intrusive student support services to nearly 400 low-income and first generation students resulting in a 75% persistence rate.
  • The Kisco Foundation Kohlberg Prize grant provides support of $184,000 over two years to increased enrollment and retention efforts among more than 8,000 student-veterans.
  • TRIO Student Support Services funds are used to assist students with basic college requirements, provide opportunities for academic development, and to motivate students toward successful completion.
  • The USDE Title III project was designed to increase student success through developmental education course reform, integrated enrollment services, and a comprehensive advising system.
  • USDE Upward Bound grant funds support two projects serving over 100 pre-college students.
  • The Maryland Higher Education Commission, All In: Making the Grade project is designed to increase persistence and academic standing of a cohort of 50 men of color entering college for the first time.
