Specialized Accreditation/Approval:

The Emergency Medical Technology and Respiratory Therapy Programs at CCBC are accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs, a specialized accrediting agency recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation.

The Mental Health Program at CCBC is approved by the Council for Standards in Human Service Education.

The Nursing Program at CCBC is accredited by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission, a specialized accrediting agency recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation and the U. S. Department of Education. The program is also accredited by the Maryland Board of Nursing.

The Practical Nursing Program at CCBC is accredited by the Maryland Board of Nusing, a specialized accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.

The Occupational Therapy Assistant Program at CCBC is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education, PO Box 31220, Bethesda, Maryland 20824-1220, phone: 301-652-2682.

The Physician Assistant Program at CCBC is approved by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant.

The Radiography and Radiation Therapy Programs at CCBC are accredited by The Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology, a specialized accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.

The Veterinary Technology Program at CCBC is accredited by the American Veterinary Medical Association Committee on Veterinary Technician Education and Activities, a specialized accrediting agency recognized by the Association of Specialized and Professional Accreditors.

The Mortuary Science Program at CCBC is accredited by the American Board of Funeral Service Education Committee on Accreditation, a specialized accrediting agency recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation and the U.S. Department of Education.

The Occupational Safety and Health Technology Program at CCBC is approved by the National Institute of Occupational Safety & Health.

The Paralegal Studies Program at CCBC is approved by the American Bar Association Committee on Legal Assistants.

The Music Production and Audio-Recording Technology Program at CCBC is accredited by the National Association of Schools of Music Commission on Community/Junior College Accreditation, a specialized accrediting agency recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation and the U.S. Department of Education.

The Theatre Program at CCBC is accredited by the National Association of Schools of Theatre Commission on Accreditation, a specialized accrediting agency recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation and the U.S. Department of Education.

The Health Informatics and Information Technology Program at CCBC is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Health Informatics and Information Management Education (CAHIIM), 233 Michigan Avenue, Suite 2150, Chicago, IL 60601, (312) 233-1183 in cooperation with the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA).
