Early College Access Programs for High School Students
 
 
 

High school students can enroll in college classes and earn college credits at CCBC while still attending high school.

Parallel Enrollment Program
The Parallel Enrollment Program (PEP) allows high school sophomores, juniors and seniors to enroll in courses at CCBC.

College 4 Free
College 4 Free is an enhanced early college access program for eligible BCPS high school juniors and seniors.

Gifted and Talented
The Gifted and Talented program allows selected 8th and 9th graders to take credit classes.

Career Pathways
The Career Pathways program allows students to earn free college credits when they successfully complete approved Career and Technology Education (CTE) Pathway Programs in Maryland county high schools. Articulated credits are applied to their college transcript after the student graduates from high school and enrolls at CCBC.

Advanced Placement
Advanced Placement (AP) courses can grant high school students CCBC credit.
