Emmet Davitt, Esq.

Emmet Davitt is the Deputy General Counsel for the Public Service Commission of Maryland. Prior to this role, he served as an Assistant Attorney General in the Criminal Division of the Maryland Office of the Attorney General. Stevenson University’s School of Graduate and Professional Studies also employs Davitt as an adjunct professor.

A Catonsville,Md. resident, Davitt holds a bachelor of arts degree from the University of Virginia and earned his J.D. from the University of Maryland School of Law.

He is a member of the Maryland State Bar Association and serves on several professional and community associations including the Baltimore County Department of Recreation and Parks (board member), the Faculty Council at Stevenson University and president of the Saint Mark Church Parish Council.
