The Community College of Baltimore County (CCBC) – then Catonsville Community College (CCC) is hosting its first reunion in over five decades of its 1950’s and 1960’s graduates, attendees, faculty, staff and administrators. You may know of or have been identified as a fellow graduate, attendee, faculty, staff or administrator of CCC and we want you to attend.
Over the past three months, a small group of graduates and administrators have been meeting to plan for an exciting reunion at CCBC Catonsville on Saturday, October 11, 2014. Please mark the date on your calendars. The reunion will take place in the Center for the Arts Building. Attendees will have the opportunity to tour the historic Hilton Mansion where many classes were held during that time, as well as the Barn where graduates for the 1960’s era held many socials and fellowships with each other.
Faculty, staff, and alumni who worked or attended the college during that time are all invited and encouraged to attend. If you have a relative, friend, or neighbor that graduated during the 1950’s or 1960’s, please ask them to contact the CCBC Alumni Relations Office at 443-840-3163 or email firstname.lastname@example.org to update their contact information or volunteer to work with the reunion committee.
The Alumni Relations Office has compiled a list of “lost alumni” for which we lack current contact information. You can help us reconnect with these alumni by going to www.ccbcmd.edu/media/ccbcalumni/images/lost_alumni_list.pdf and update our list where possible. If you have photographs of the 1950’s and 60’s campus and student activities, please share them with us as we will be showcasing a slideshow presentation of years gone by – then and now.
Thank you and we hope to hear from you in the coming weeks or see you in October.
