Rules and Guidelines for Student Behavior:

In order to ensure a safe and enjoyable learning environment, students are required to comply with all rules and guidelines established by CCBC. Failure to abide by the program rules and guidelines can lead to dismissal from the program without refund. A copy of the rules and guidelines will be mailed to each student prior to thestart of each session.

Visitors Policy

All persons attending the camp sessions must be officially registered for that camp. Any visitors (including children) other than those with bona fide academic, educational and/or approved business with the college are not to be in offices, labs, classrooms, break room, work areas or hallways. Children (ages 12 and under) are not to be left unattendeda t any time, under any circumstances.

In enrolling in the Community College of Baltimore County, students accept and agree to abide by the policies and regulations of CCBC including those in the Student Code of Conduct.

Student Drop Off/Pick Up:

Because of the large, public, open environments of ourprogram sites, and our concern for student safety, we require that parents accompany students to the classroom when dropping off in the morning. Parents/guardians are asked to sign the student out in person at the end of the camp day, and will be asked prior to the start of camp to identify those persons who have approval to pick up the child from the program. Students who are not promptly picked up at the end of the program day will be chargeda late fee of $20 for each 15 minutes of lateness.

* Special accommodations: CCBC is committed to providing accessible education and supportive learning environment for all students. To help us meet this goal, all students with disabilities who require special accommodation must notify the Disability Support Services office at 410.780.6741 at least 30 days prior to camp so that accommodations can be arranged. CCBC does not provide for personal medical assistants care attendants or one-on-one support person.

* Medication: Camp staff cannot administer any medication, prescription or non-prescription (over the counter) to campers. If a camper needs to take medication during camp, you need to have the Authorization to Self Medicate form completed by your child's physician. A separate form must be completed for each medication, prescription or over the counter drugs. Please note: CCBC is not a nut-free environment.

* I understand that my son/daughter will be attending classes on an open college campus and there will not be student supervision provided outside the classroom unless the student is enrolled in Extended Care. He/she must abide by the rules and regulations of the Community College of Baltimore County, including exhibiting classroom behavior that allows for a student environment free from harassment, discrimination and disruption.
