Travel. Learn. Grow.
CCBC offers trips for every budget.

Near or far, exotic or familiar – travel experiences offer countless opportunities for relaxation, recreation and education. From regional day trips to weeklong overseas excursions, CCBC provides new adventures and opportunities for self-enrichment with more than 20 trips every semester.

Travel. Learn. Grow.
CCBC's Egypt trip was the highlight of the 2008-2009 Travel Studies program. The group experienced the culture, religion and ancient history of this incredible country.

“We’ve nibbled our way through Greenwich Village as we enjoyed a walking tour and visited various markets along the way, and we’ve watched the Colorado River wind its way through the Grand Canyon,” explains Terry Walter, coordinator of CCBC’s Office of Travel Studies.

Travelers ages 5 to 95 can choose from a variety of trip options:

  • One day to 14+ days
  • Local, regional, domestic and international destinations
  • Pricing for every budget, beginning at just $45 per person for some day trips

“Our journeys have included chef demonstrations and the art of wine-making – and tasting – at wineries throughout the mid-Atlantic,” Walter recalls. “Last semester we visited Maryland’s Eastern Shore where we learned the art of cheese-making at a local dairy farm and creamery, and how bison are raised on a small farm in Hurlock [Maryland].”

There’s an itinerary for every interest:

  • Broadway shows
  • Museums
