Payment for noncredit courses is due at the time of registration. Due dates for credit registrations will not change with drop/add activity. If the tuition bill is greater than the financial aid award amount, the student is responsible for paying the balance of the bill by the due date. Registrations will be cancelled for non-payment if payment is not received by the due date.

Credit card and ACH (checking or savings account) payments are accepted online.
*Students who use Touchnet's credit card or check payment option within SIMON will be directed to Touchnet's web site. For security reasons, students will be required to enter their same consistent username and password for payment processing within the Touchnet site.

Tuition Payment Plans
Apply for a tuition payment plan through NELNET Business Solutions (formerly FACTS Management Company). Applications can be processed online. Follow instructions for online payments, and at the bottom of the Student Accounts page select "Enroll in Payment Plan." NELNET charges a $25 processing fee to apply for a tuition payment plan. The initial payment is made to the college and monthly payments are automatically deducted from a checking, savings or credit card account. Tuition partial payment plans are available for the Fall and Spring semesters only.

Tuition Assistance
Financial Aid
Visit financial aid to find out what aid is available to students and how to apply for financial assistance. Approved financial aid awards are applied to account balances in the Bursar's Office. Balances not covered by aid are the student's responsibility and must be paid by the due date of the tuition bill.
Employer
Present purchase order, tuition assistance form, or letter of intent from the employer to the Bursar's Office. Balances not covered by the employer are the student's responsibility and must be paid by the due date of the tuition bill.
Tuition Waivers
Senior - Maryland residents, 60 years of age or older, who enroll in courses at CCBC are eligible for a tuition waiver. All applicable fees (including $30 course fee) are the responsibility of the student. Student must be 60 years of age before the academic semester begins.
Disability - The State of Maryland recently passed House Bill 104 which changed the process for Maryland students with disabilities to receive a tuition waiver.
Any resident of Maryland who is out of the workforce because of a permanent disability as defined by the Social Security Act, the Railroad Retirement Act, (or in the case of former federal employees, the Office of Personnel Management), and enrolls in a community college class that has at least ten regularly enrolled students, may be eligible for a tuition waiver.
New guidelines are effective January 1, 2012. All students with disabilities who enroll in credit courses at CCBC are required to take action to continue receiving the tuition waiver.
Foster Care - Students who were in foster care as of their 18th birthday, or who were in foster care as of their 14th birthday but were subsequently adopted, may be eligible for a tuition and fee waiver.
National Guard - Maryland Guard members can receive up to 50 percent waiver of tuition for both degree and vocational programs. Members must provide a letter from their unit commander supporting membership in the Maryland National Guard.
Parallel Enrollment Program (PEP)
High school students enrolled in CCBC courses may be eligible to receive a 50 percent tuition discount if they meet the following criteria:
• Baltimore County resident
• Payment of all CCBC fees
• An enrolled high school junior or senior
• Obtain written approval from a parent and appropriate school official
• Meet enrollment requirements of CCBC
Employee/Retiree – CCBC full time employees and CCBC retirees who enroll in courses at CCBC are eligible for a tuition waiver. All applicable fees are the responsibility of the student.
Delinquent Accounts
Delinquent accounts are referred to the Maryland State Central Collection Unit. A 17% collection fee is added to the student's account.
Qualified Tuition Programs
This tax benefit includes programs established and maintained by one or more eligible educational institutions. The beneficiary (or another taxpayer claiming the beneficiary as a dependent) may claim the HOPE or Lifetime Learning Credit on qualified expenses paid for with the funds distributed from the Qualified Tuition Program.
